Time really flies.. It was 1 month ago that Brian underwent a surgery at Sunway Medical Centre. Brian was admitted 1 day earlier as he's the 1st case scheduled for the following morning session.
My little boy was so happy the moment he stepped into his 'room'. He must have thought that he had just checked-in into a Hotel Room. Memang rasa nak gelak tengok gelagat dia enjoying himself. The Single Deluxe Room was much more comfortable and cosy compared to the Single Standard Room he used to camp in last time. Having monthly bonus is definitely a SURPLUS! Brian climbed straight onto the Sofa Bed instead of lying down on the patient's bed. Believe it or not, he slept on the Sofa Bed that night & even the night after he had the surgery. Patient's bed tu jadi tempat tidur Daddy. Hahaha!!
Activities that kept Brian occupied that day-off from his Nursery:
1) Watching Barney
2) Main shoot shoot using toy gun with Daddy
3) "Shopping" at
Bila dah boring, mula la meragam. Maklum la macam jail, tak boleh keluar dari kawasan hospital.
On the surgery day, seawal 7am, we were told to change him into OT gown. Light green Small Gown, so cute. Time tu tengah worry, berdebar-debar, lupa nak snap photo. Brian was still blur blur when i cuddled him to the Operating Theatre. He screened the whole OT, the OT staffs, their uniforms, the equipments and etc with curiosity. Daddy found a simpler way to explain to Brian that doctor would perform a surgery on him. A way that could be understood by a boy who would turn 3 years old 3 days after that. "Brian, Brian let doctor "REPAIR" Brian's ears, ok?" & Brian nodded. REPAIR!! Everyone laughed the moment they heard this =) =). Janji Brian faham dah la...
Only 1 parent was allowed to accompany Brian till they put him under the General Anaesthesia. I was honoured as he chose me!! I cuddled him all the way till we came to Operating Room 3 & I put him down on the bed. The Surgeon gave me a comforting smile & said "Don't worry Ai Lyn, Brian is in good hands".
Brian was so BRAVE, his actions proved to me that he has grown up a lot! He did not struggle, did not shed a single tear !!! I was really surprised & I thank God that HE answered our prayers & He blessed Brian with Strength, mentally, emotionally & physically.
You are definitely a very brave boy, Son!! A real Fighter indeed. We are so proud of you, Brian!! Happy 37th months old Brian. We Love you so much, sunshine =) =)
